Currently running through November 2nd at the Shelterbelt Theatre, Mickey & Sage by Sara Farrington deals with the interaction of two children (played by adults Greg Harries and Kaitlin Maher) on their daily afternoon playdate. As each of their parents ‘hangout’ with each other, the kids discuss life, death, the universe, and, most importantly, they spy on the neighbors.

Cast Members Talk ‘Buffalo’, Rose Takes on Seuss

Ballet Nebraska Kicks Off Fifth Season with ‘Giselle’

            Ballet Nebraska will kick off its fifth season this Saturday, October 4th, with the performance of Giselle. Erika Overturff, artistic director of Ballet Nebraska, called the show one the greatest ballets of the Romantic Era.

Adams Officially Off and Running with “Drowsy”

            With The Drowsy Chaperone in full swing, Hilary Adams now has a full production under her belt as the new Omaha Playhouse Artistic Director. Adams talked with me about the process of getting Drowsy on its feet and the implementation of various new tweaks to the Playhouse process.

Playhouse’s Alternative Programming Expanding

The Omaha Community Playhouse announced it’s latest offerings of alternative programming with some notable expansions.
