Restaurant Startup

Over Easy is being featured on an episode of CNBC’s show “Restaurant Startup,” which is a show where restaurant owners try to woo investors so they can get funds to either open up a restaurant or add a location. No word yet on whether or not Over Easy successfully wooed the investors, but tune in on Tuesday, February 3 at 9:00 p.m. to find out. http://www.overeasyomaha.com/

Quick Pizza

Pizza chain Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joint is opening their doors on January 29. This is the first of six Uncle Maddio’s Pizza Joints slated to open within Nebraska and is located at 2521 South 132nd Street. The premise of these eateries is a “create your own pizza” format that’s also supposed to be speedy, but they manage to incorporate some fresh, local food into their menu too. Preregister to guarantee your spot and prepare to do some quick networking. http://www.eventbrite.com/e/2015-healthy-farms-conference-tickets-14708113363

Hardbound History

The Boiler Room Restaurant just launched a limited release of a hardbound book commemorating their six years (so far) in businesses. Titled “The Boilerroom: Its Restaurant and Its People,” you can find copies at The Boiler Room, La Buvette and Le Bullion. More printings are coming, so if they sell out before you can buy one, don’t panic.  http://www.boilerroomomaha.com/
