Wild Belle is the indie rock project of Chicago siblings, Elliot and Natalie Bergman. The duo have built a quick amount of buzz, resulting in signing with Columbia Records last year. The band's debut album Isles isn't out until late March, but the band's official videos for "It's Too Late" and "Keep You" have already made the rounds on the Internet. The sound is a crisp, dramatic electro-pop with a 70s horn-aided retro tinge and some slight reggae nods in the guitar work. This is a groovier, indie take on what made Lana Del Ray a 2012 sensation. Singer Natalie Bergman has a knack for the same sort of smooth, simmering voice that Mynabirds' Laura Burhenn puts to effective use. Meanwhile, Wild Belle will be joined by Omaha's own dose of silky 70s pop-soul-funk, Satchel Grande. Whenever there's a need for groove, moustachioed singer Chris Klemmensen and his crew will heed the call, providing a soulful brand of funk that collected plenty of area fans.
