A three-week exploration of what it means to be a woman of color in the Midwest concludes with an evening of readings, poems and performances. Some of Omaha’s leading creatives use the expressive forms of their choice to examine the joys and challenges that come with being a woman of color in this community. An installation by Union Fellow Angela Drakeford entitled Don’t Tell Me, I Tell You provides a thought-provoking and inspiring backdrop for the program. Curated by Denise Chapman.
