As the oldest family-owned real estate company in the United States, NP Dodge currently maintains 10 offices in Nebraska and Iowa and has more than 500 sales associates. The company offers a broad collection of services to assist home buyers and sellers. Currently, NP Dodge’s Residential Sales Division is the fastest growing in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.

“NP Dodge has been a part of the metro since the very beginning; people like working with people they know and trust. Our sales associates are very involved and invested in our communities,” said Jodee Drake-Soto, vice president of marketing, NP Dodge. “Home buying and selling is one of the most important purchases in one’s life – it’s very personal and emotional. Our sales associates and company understand this and are here to guide buyers and sellers every step of the way with the newest technology and resources.”

NP Dodge Builder Services is developing residential areas in Omaha and the company supervises and coordinates each project from initial planning and financing to final close and walk through. The company’s full-line provider of title insurance products and settlement closing services has staff who can respond to residential or commercial title insurance or real estate closing questions.

According to Drake-Soto, more than 60 percent of people own homes in Omaha and with mortgage rates being incredibly low, single family home buying and selling services are the most popular for NP Dodge. To maintain a competitive edge, the company stays abreast of key industry trends, including the use of technology. Emerging trends in 2013 include growing consumer use of mobile technology and environmental awareness.

“On the NP Dodge side, we continue to enhance our mobile technology as more consumers are using smart phones. We must reach consumers where they are at any time,” said Drake-Soto. “We’re planning for tomorrow’s buyer. For home buying and selling consumers, we see housing affordability continuing throughout 2013. The green initiative, reuse and re-purposing will be strong as well.”
