New Establishments Keep Omaha Fresh

Via Farina

Does Omaha have room for another Wood Fired Neapolitan Pizza joint? Yes. Definitely yes. Via Farina is toiling away to have their new place up and running this Spring. To stay on top of renovations and recipes by the team (featuring Omaha Food Celebrity Paul Kulik) like Via Farina’s Facebook page. Connolly Strikes Again

When Diana Zehrer Connolly sold Morning, Noon, and Night, I considered boycotting Shadow Lake entirely. The coffee, tea, and wine stop was a grown-up good time without the uptight feeling you get from many wine bars. Soon, Omaha will have access to Connolly’s brand of chill once again, as Papillion Tea Shop is planning a soft open April 15. To find out more about this new venture and to RSVP to opening day head to https://www.facebook.com/events/506196856218623/

You are invited to attend the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands’ Man to Man Lunch on Wednesday, March 30th at the UNO Community Engagement Center. The hour-long lunch, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., includes parking at UNO and lunch from Manhattan Deli. The featured guest is Sports Columnist Tom Shatel. Tom will take part in an interactive Q & A session with Man to Man guests, moderated by Thor Tripp, Big Brother and KETV Sports Reporter/Anchor. The Man to Man Lunch will also include testimonials from two current Big Brothers. The guys will share why they chose to get involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, fun stories about their friendship with their Little Brother and why they think others should sign up to become Bigs.
