Jon Seymour’s Big Move

V. Mertz chef Jon Seymour has plans to open his own restaurant. If you’re familiar with his prestigious career –including award nominations and time spent at the infamous Noma in Denmark – the news that he’s branching out on his own is probably making you quite excited, and perhaps a little hungry.  http://www.vmertz.com/

Happy “Nosh” Year

Nosh Restaurant and Wine Lounge is offering a special four-course dinner for New Year’s Eve. The $50 per-person cost also includes a glass of sparkling wine. Stay after dinner for the “Eat Drink and Dance” party that starts at 10:00 p.m. and costs $30 per person. There will be music, food and a champagne toast. http://www.noshwine.com/

No Waiting at Marks

Marks Bistro recently joined the ranks of local eateries allowing customers to make reservations for tables using Open Table. Use this method to make reservations for up to 10 guests. The good news is that you can also make reservations by calling Marks directly if you’d rather go that route. http://www.marksindundee.com/reservations-1/

More Voodoo

Voodoo Taco is now open at Aksarben Village, making a total of three Voodoo Tacos thus far within the Omaha area. Head on over and eat some alligator sausage tacos (really) or try something else on their menu. http://www.voodootaco.com/
