TASTE ALERT: J.Coco has a menu item that is above and beyond the norm from a taste and flavor perspective. The “Bouillabaisse” Style Whitefish Sandwich which can be found on both the lunch and dinner menus and is a sandwich that should not be missed (rather we should be beating down the doors, so to speak.) The fish is lightly seared, flakey and perfected with a touch of salty seasonings then served on top of a brioche bun with roasted peppers and saffron aioli. The flavors are overly complimentary to each other and create a smooth and buttery sandwich that leaves you licking the juices from your fingertips. Priced at $12, this Taste Alert sandwich comes with fries or a house salad. J.Coco is located in the old Wolner’s Grocery store at 5203 Leavenworth Street.
