The event runs from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at the Douglas County Extension Office, 8015 West Center Road. Here are some points of interest on the event as marketed…

Looks like the wait is over for anyone who was counting the days for Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers to open their doors. They will be open at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday January 31st at the corner of Dodge and 72nd street. 7060 Dodge Street to be exact. Raising Cane’s is based out of Baton Rouge LA and runs 149 stores, including three in Nebraska. According to the press release:

  “Raising Cane’s founder and CEO Todd Graves believes the timing is perfect for his restaurant in Omaha, given the brand’s success in the state capital.  “Nebraskans have really embraced Raising Cane’s since we opened our first restaurant in Lincoln in 2006,” said Graves.  “We think Omaha is going to be another thriving market for our brand, and we intend to bring great jobs, great chicken finger meals and great community support to the area over the months and years ahead.”
