You say Tomato, I say Tomäto

Tomato Tomäto, Omaha’s indoor Famer’s Market, has teamed up with area HyVee supermarkets to make farm to fork even more convenient. All Omaha HyVee stores have been designated as pick up locations for Tomato’s CSA customers, saving them a drive to the establishment on 156th street. Additionally, HyVee shelves will soon feature many items from the 35 area farms Tomato Tomäto represents. Getting fresh and easy? Our mothers warned us about this…

Speaking of CSA

Now is the time to buy your shares in your favorite Community Supported Agriculture program! Wenninghoff Farm offers an 18 week buy in and several convenient pick up locations for you to choose from. Deliveries begin in June and end in October with a selection of usually 4 kinds of produce each week, depending on what is ripe and ready when the bags are prepared. Shares can include everything from just produce to cheeses, eggs, and herbs. As an added bonus, early birds will receive a $10 gift from the greenhouse!
