National Hotline Answers The Call To Help The Hungry

One in Seven Nebraskans are unsure of when or how they will see their next meal. The Department of Agriculture is aiming to put an end to this food insecurity by spreading awareness of a USDA funded hotline connecting residence to food providers and nutrition assistance programs. With a few more meals and one less worry on their plate, more Nebraskans will be able to reach self-sufficiency. If you or a family you know is struggling, call 1-866-3-HUNGRY or para asistencia en español por favor llame a 1-877-8-HAMBRE. The hotline can be reached Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm.
