Seeking a table for Valentine’s day? We have what you Crave
Despite what it says on Open Table (the online reservations site), Crave still has limited availability for Saturday. When I spoke with them, there were 100 coveted reservations available in addition to the bar, which serves the entire dinner and sushi menu and seats walk-ins only. The menu is also available for takeout, if you’re planning a romantic evening at home that doesn’t include hours of slaving over a hot stove. If you find yourself waiting a bit, the restaurant is located at midtown crossing, which is a beautiful scene for a romantic stroll.

Love is patient
And entirely worth the wait! As is any evening at Lo Sole Mio, which boasts a year-round walk in only policy. If you find yourself sitting in the open lounge while you await your table, have a Bellini or enjoy a glass of wine with your conversation. If you happen to be hiding a velvet box in your pocket on this particular evening, (over 6 million Americans plan to become engaged this weekend), the scene is romantic without being saccharine.

Seeking something a bit more casual or family friendly while maintaining the celebratory mood? It’s always a party at The Greek Islands! A shot of Ouzo while your saganaki is set aflame at your table, a glass of wine with your lemony chicken riganatto, or some iced tea with a grilled cheese pita and a burger. The Greeks has something for everyone you love, and reservations are still available!
