The Noodle Game is Strong With This One

Ugly Duck Ramen has returned with oodles of noodles to satisfy your umami-tooth. July 23 and 24, Ugly Duck will host 2 pop-ups at an as-yet undisclosed location. Saturday’s event will be serve dinner, and Sunday will serve a pop-up lunch. Tasty Town Meeting

The 2nd annual Taste of LaVista will take place July 30. Pizza, beer, rootbeer a photo booth, and fun family activities will be held at the Central Park tennis courts from 4-7pm. A&W, Godfather’s, Lucky Bucket, Mama’s,  Nebraska Brewing, Valentinos and Valentino’s will all be on hand for the evening. The event doubles as a town meeting allowing citizens to respond to visions, goals and policies for the future. For more details, visit

Did you miss Tacos Rule Everything Around Me back in May? The time has come to end your mourning as two opportunities to sample the Mex menu are on the horizon! First, hit up DANDELION pop-up in The Chamber courtyard on Friday, July 22 where chef Tim Maides will sample what’s to come on August 7, when he hosts a pop-up at VMertz. The second event, Tiki and Tacos, will feature a 5 course tasting dinner, including flavors like nopales, ceviche, birria, mole and platano.
