Dundee Cycles and The Boiler Room are hosting a Whisky Tasting on

Monday, December 10th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Dundee Cycles and Provisions.

This event is marketed as “featuring 20 different American Whiskeys. Some whiskeys at the tasting include: Rittenhouse, Death’s Door, Bulleit, Koval, Old Weller, Buffalo Trace and many more. The tasting will be led by Clark Ross. Ross has been running bar programs in Baltimore and Omaha for 6 years and is also in charge of creating the rotating list of craft cocktails at The Boiler Room Restaurant.” Included in the cost of the event is a limited edition silk-screened poster. For the serious foodie who might be interested in starting the year off with a new project…Aquaponics: Fish, Vegetables,& You

If you are interested in learning more about Aquaponics, you can attend a class at Metropolitan Community College through their Continuing Education program on December 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Fort campus. Along with instructor Michael Kaminski, you can learn how to raise fish and vegetables, greens, and herbs in your home that can then be served for fantastic meals. Concepts and guidelines of Aquaponics will be explained & demonstrated via a working system.
