In 'I and You,' Caroline awaits a life-saving liver transplant as a result of a genetic condition. In Nebraska alone, there are over 400 people on the transplant waiting list. 98 percent of Nebraskans support organ and tissue donation, but only about half of eligible Nebraskans are registered. Fewer still are aware of the possibility of serving as living donors. Living donations have transformed the field in the last 20 years. Dr. Grant gives us an overview of the scope of the transplant process, the scale of the need, and debunks some stubborn myths.
