“Perk your lobes” for the funkiest band in the world!

The third and final show for the 2021 Miller Park Concert Series, organized by Native Omaha Days Festival, will conclude with local soul and funk group Big Wade & Black Swan Theory on September 4.

Fronted by North Omaha native Lewade “Big Wade” Milliner, Big Wade & Black Swan Theory are considered pioneers for Nebraska’s soul music scene. They recently played at the In the Market for Blues music festival in downtown Omaha in August. Milliner’s career has also included going on national tours and sharing the stage with legendary soul artist Al Green.

The Miller Park Concert Series finale will start at 7 PM.

About the event:

  • Masks are recommended
  • All concerts are free, no ticket required
  • Bring blankets, chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, food, beer, wine and leashed pets! Feel free to bring food from your favorite local restaurants
  • Shows will go on rain or shine
