This Tennessee seventeen-year-old singer-songwriter was inspired from a Bluegrass festival, began his guitar and singing lessons and started uploading cover songs to YouTube over three years ago. In 2012 Whitesides auditioned for the television series X-Factor and made the first cut. Whitsides has found a good mix of  his southern rasp and pop. His guitar skills lie somewhere between rhythmic and artful, add on the fact that he can play other instruments and he’s set. His music would best be sampled by those that enjoy contemporary cover tunes. Joining Whitesides will be another artist familiar in vocal competition television, Jacquie Lee. Lee was runner up on The Voice in 2013, but she accredited iTunes bonuses and a fan base. Lee also performs cover songs, but like Whitesides has her own songs. Both artists have made bold choices in their musical careers performing songs most wouldn’t dare to sing anywhere other than the shower or car.
