Over the past four years, the Women’s March has been a defining cultural event and movement, bringing national attention to women’s rights and the work that still needs to be done to ensure gender equality. This year’s event, in place of marching in the streets, will include two weeks of online action-oriented workshops, conversations and events. The theme for this year is “See it to be it,” with a focus on amplifying the voices of women taking action and making change in their communities. (https://sharonsteelerealestate.com/) Presentations will include Women Who Run Nebraska, female entrepreneurs, changemakers, activists and more. Visit facebook.com/OMAWomensMarch for more details.
