The University of Nebraska at Omaha kicks off a three year exchange program aimed at educating journalists in Afghanistan this week. The $1.3 million program, funded by a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, will see UNO faculty members travel to Kabul University to help build a fledgling journalism program. Starting next spring, students and professors from Kabul University will also travel to Omaha.
