We just saw the start of the astrological New Year at dawn on April 10th; the Aries New Moon during Aries. That’s when to initiate your spring fling. Plant your seeds in fertile Earth while the Moon’s in Taurus, and then think about the pros and cons as the Moon enters Gemini around noon on Saturday, reminding us that in regard to our spring projects; if it’s not fun — it’s not done. Catch ya at the garage/yard sales. Earth Day’s right around the corner…

a ARIES (3.20-4.18)  No excuse! Cut loose! Venus and Mars — both conjunct the Sun — are tripping hand-in-hand through the last vestiges of Aries, just as Mercury enters Aries from the anterior (how was it for you?), delineating the details to this spring’s (and thus, 2013’s) love/business/general affairs. You’ve gathered/intuited new ideas and beginnings during this last month, refreshing intuitions/insights that were garnered a year ago when the planet Uranus entered Aries (same joke — a year later?). One has to communicate in order to proceed/succeed with others, right? Are we communicating? Make it unique, unusual, electrifying and “for the good of all” — and start now!

b TAURUS (4.19-5.19)  Here come Venus (love) and Mars (energy), skipping through this spring’s meadows hand-in-hand like young lovers, followed by the Sun on the 19th to throw some much-needed light onto your psychological insight. The past winter of your discontent is finally over — but not your meditation upon it! If you haven’t emerged from your winter purge, it’s because there is something basically wrong with your psychological structure(ing). See your daddy (Saturn’s in your opposite sign)!

c GEMINI (5.20-6.19)  Everyone thinks that you’re late — but guess what? You’re the one that “May” (hint!) be on time. Maybe you’re just coming from a “higher” place? Maybe everyone else was/ended up being too early? Explain it to anybody who’s interested (new prospects?!) over the weekend, when you’ll be asked to take the floor once (or twice?) more. Sunday at 2:00 is lucky for you if you’re wearing blue!

d CANCER (6.20-7.21)  Start work now on your reputation! If you don’t hype it, you don’t/won’t get the number$. If you don’t back the hype, you don’t/won’t get the number$, twice. —Hollywood $howbiz Advice!

e LEO (7.22-8.21)  It’s all about you, isn’t it? It’s not quite your turn to burn (back in your cage!), but it sure feels like it, doesn’t it? You’re just basking in your own sunlight/element. Since half the planets are currently residing in your theoretical 9th House of Aries, school’s out early this year (in your mind, at least), and you want to do some traveling with your Gemini friend(s) or a set of twins.

f VIRGO (8.22-9.21)  You can now let go of any critique from across the street, your bedroom, your front room, the barroom, or the antique vestibule where they’ll teach ya Sunday school’s unique golden rules to reach ya. They’re gravitating from being “on your case” and “in your face” to keeping you in the economic race (your ruler Mercury is moving into your Aries/8th House).

g LIBRA (9.22-10.21)  How could you not be in love? It keeps you honest. You play your best game. You clean up your act and keep it clean, ’til complacency once again shows up and takes over your scene. It’s more fun being in love than not, and our short little sojourn here on Earth starts to make much more sense — and it’s spring!

h SCORPIO (10.22-11.20)  Time for you to get to work and back on your health regime, Mr. and Mrs. Spring-clean! With half the planets in your 6th/Virgo House (representing da guts)… At last! It’s time for your spring fast… Sissy! With friends like you, who needs enemas? How else you gonna get right and travel light?

i SAGITTARIUS (11.21-12.20)  You’ve got 3 Moons to move deeper into your relationship, and then (as Jupiter moves/moons into Cancer) comes the question: How ya gonna support da whole thing? Don’t sweat it! Your ruler Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. Expansion (Jupiter) is most powerful in our most fruitful sign of Cancer. Your sign invented/rules “luck.” Time to rock ’n’ roll dem dice!

j CAPRICORN (12.21-1.18)  Time to take care of your psychological home center (4th House). You’re dealing with a spring cleaning, leading to a garage sale of the mind. Time to get those psychological antiques so clean they squeak, and then offer them up for perusal in front your yard! In Zen, one makes use of what one has, first — turning any unused debits into credits, and creating worth out of the worst.

k AQUARIUS (1.19-2.17)  Uranians: You’ve got 2 more weeks to get to work and plant the seeds for your next 6 year-project with your brothers and sisters. Saturnians: You’ve got these next 3 Moons ’til you’re psychologically cleansed of matters concerning your reputation, fame and fortune (10th House).

l PISCES (2.18-3.19)  With the whole astrological universe (or at least half) in your 2nd House of value and economic worth, you’ve got these next 2 weeks to figure out how to — or who’s going to — pay your rent while still here on Earth. Meditate on some kind of unexpected lightning from the sky, and watch for any/the economic showers to unexpectedly water your spring flowers, providing the key to your economy.
