A Mixer in Mad Style

What better way to dispel the stuffy stereotypes about opera than with a party at the House of Loom?

Executive Director Roger Weitz said, “The party is a fun way to engage with opera and mingle with like-minded individuals interested in music and culture.”

Guests are welcome to wear their most stylish “Mad Men“ attire and swankiest cocktail couture. Prizes will be given out for best costumes. Guests will also enjoy cocktails, a live DJ, light hors d’oeuvres and two tickets to see the opera’s 50’s inspired production of The Marriage Contract.

Weitz said the opera included tickets to the upcoming performance, because he believes once someone experiences opera, they will be back for more.
