June 18-19 All Sports Expo Qwest Center Omaha, 455 N. 10th St. Free This Saturday and Sunday the Qwest will be hosting the first annual All Sports Expo — the largest sporting event in the country for various sporting companies to showcase new equipment, products, services and technology. Everyone from ESPN Radio to Tapout Mouthguard will be represented while thousands of fans from across the country make the trek to Omaha for the opening weekend of the College World Series. Not only is the event free to the public but there will also be a keynote stage — clinics and demonstrations throughout both days of the show, a tailgating area to watch the ball games at and activities for the kids. Even if you watch all the live baseball action at the new TD Ameritrade ballpark you can walk across the street to the Qwest before and after the games and join in on this free event with keynote speakers Jake Epstein of Epstein Hitting Inc. on “The Most Common Flaws of Amateur Players” and Dr. Steve Hagan of Nebraska Orthopedic Associates on “Arm Injury Prevention: Avoiding Tommy John Surgery.”
