Artist Nolan Tredway, co-director of Tugboat Gallery in Lincoln, is infamous for his paintings of dark surreal worlds and fierce creatures.  Lost Ends is sure to prove nothing short of his award-winning artistry (Tredway earned the Ida M. Vreeland Award and a Nebraska Arts Council Individual Fellowship Award), exploring “a story in the middle, without context, and without apology.  Every page is the first page, ignoring the one before.  It is the moment that is captured without the one after,” as described by the artist. Viewers can expect to get entrapped in the visual narrative of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln BFA graduate’s vast visions, “creating a mystery from clues, forgetting to be solved.”
