Christmas night, at The Waiting Room, the local heavy metal bluegrass act Banjo Loco will be hosting a night of music with friends Reggaejunkiejew, The Beat Seakers, MC Gringo and Eastern Turkish. “Heavy metal bluegrass?” you ask. “Is that even possible?” With a name like Banjo Loco, the answer is an emphatic yes. They cover songs ranging from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Maiden and Zappa all on their banjos.
