It’s another show in the outstanding 1200 Club series. Popa Chubby, the man The New York Times called “a post-modern Muddy Waters” brings his
blues-rock act to downtown Omaha. One of the most popular figures in modern blues, the 300-pound, shaved-head blossoming legend is part Stooges and part Buddy Guy. He got his start at CBGB and in the best tradition of the blues, he takes real-life stories and rocks the roof off the house. Don’t expect anything less on Saturday.
