Local boutique Roots & Wings is giving away a pair of TOMS Shoes to one lucky customer every Friday during the month of December. Each week’s winner has the choice to either give their pair to an Omaha child in need or to pick a pair out for themself.

Omaha Help Portrait

Serving as an organization that provides cost-free family photos to those who could not otherwise afford them, Omaha Help Portrait provided photos to 137 families last year. This year, they need your help to reach more families than ever. Photographers, stylists, videographers and volunteers are needed to assist with Help Portrait 2011, along with monetary donations to cover supply costs. This event will take place locally on Saturday, December 10th and will serve the patients of Omaha’s One World Community Health Center.
