Playing With Fire Concert

Lewis & Clark Landing, Riverfront Drive, Omaha

The ninth annual Playing With Fire free concert hits Lewis & Clark Landing with the support of presenting sponsor FirstComp. Gates open at 4 p.m. Teen Lincoln blues band Cold In Hand (4:30 p.m.), BluesEd band Us & Them (5:15 p.m.) and The Pounders (6 p.m.) get things started.

Ruf Records’ recording artist Meena Cryle makes one of her first US performances (7:15 p.m.). Headlining the show is Rick Vito (9 p.m.). He is the lead guitarist for the Mick Fleetwood Blues Band and also was with Fleetwood Mac from 1987 to 1991. Vito has performed with the bands of Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne and more.
