Artist Leslie Diuguid is painting live at the LOUD event at The Sandbox, 24th and Leavenworth, July 8.  Diuguid will literally lay down her brushes throughout the night amongst her multi-layered expressionistic collage-drawings on the walls, while DJs Masaris, $pencelove and Stephen Bils spin and crowds rave.  “I tend to overly control the work I make,” said the artist. “So I plan on mapping an image out beforehand and filling in the color the night of … hopefully it works out and makes interesting images as well.”  The music venue will be treating the crowds to free Redbull, and, the Facebook invitation says, will probably be the only event allowing those age 18-20 in, so enjoy it while it lasts. –Sally Deskins
