The Machete Archive will celebrate selection to Maha Music Festival’s local
stage by hosting a night of music at Duffy’s Tavern in Lincoln. Maha has
asked its three selected local stage acts to curate a night of music to share
their favorite sounds in advance of the Saturday, August 13 festival. The
Machete Archive invited the heavy-hitting longtime Lincoln mainstay Her
Flyaway Manner, along with up-and-coming acts Powerful Science and Irkutsk.
The Machete Archive will play their brand of heady, trippy and intricately
rocking instrumental music. Like the other showcases, it is co-sponsored by
HearNebraska.org and it’s free.?
