June 17-18 Midnight Movie: Mulholland Drive Dundee Theatre, 4952 Dodge St. Midnight Friday and Saturday, $6, dundeetheatre.com Mulholland Drive, David Lynch’s trippy 2001 offering, gets its due at Dundee this weekend. It’s a dreamy, Oscar-nominated flick that explores the blurred chaos of guilt and jealousy in a stylish yet ethereal way. Naomi Watts and Laura Harring are the driving forces in the dizzying mystery that plays out, and both give startling, memorable performances. Oh, and there’s also scary, mice-sized old people, some girl-on-girl action and a cowboy without eyebrows. Yep, this is David Lynch territory! If you liked Blue Velvet and you didn’t mind “Twin Peaks,” you’ll probably enjoy this movie.
