Noah’s Ark Was A Spaceship has been quiet for a while, but that’s all about to end. The local indie band has finally returned with a new record after a brief hiatus in 2012. Titled You Need You, it’s a welcome return from a band that has collected a slew of fans in its short existence. After a lineup change in 2012, the band recommences once again as a trio comprised of Rick Black, John Svatos and Andrew Gustafson. Only time will tell if the boys will stick around for a while, but for now, they are gearing up for their record release party at The Waiting Room. In the meantime, Noah’s Ark is busy shooting videos; they just shot a Love Drunk video at Legends Comics and Coffee. They’re also heading out on a small, regional tour next month. Let’s hope the ship doesn’t sink before they set off. There’s still plenty of wind left in those sails. -Kyle Eustice
