Wish List: Small art works exhibition

Modern Arts Midtown, 3615 Dodge St.

Small work by artists from Modern Arts Midtown collection will be featured through the holidays at the recently opened gallery curated by artist and owner Larry Roots.  Art on view includes: richly colored whimsical oil paintings by Wendy Jane Bantam; muted colored abstract oil studies of Judith Burton; mythical abstract sculpture and drawings of Catherine Ferguson; calligraphic abstract-expressionistic work on paper by John Himmelfarb; the linear, kaleidoscopic acrylic paintings by Jacqueline Kluver; Roots’ own textural abstract paintings; the socially narrative oil paintings and prints by Waite White; the contemporary still-life oils of Clifford Bailey and many more.
