Bancroft Street Market, 2702 S. 10th St.

1-9p.m., FREE, bancroftstreetmarket.com

Artist Melinda Eames is inspired by nature, fabric, found objects, architecture, and “whatever she sees has a great line, rhythm, form, color and texture.” In her work in 9 on 10th at Bancroft Street Market, she envelops all of those with her assemblages of fish, moon and other sculptures welded with found and recycled objects.  Alongside Eames’ quirky contraptions are Doug Boyd’s abstract figurative sculptures and paintings; three-dimensional work of Sharon Boynton; Sidney “Buzz” Buchanan’s steel sculptures; Eddith’ Buis’ drawings and paintings; Karla Karr’s sculpture; steel sculpture of Paul Konchagulian; Deb McColley’s abstract painting; and fiber art by Jay Rich.  A wine tasting party is included in this closing party, the last day of the exhibit.
