Jake and Jamin Orral are two brothers from Nashville, Tenn. who kick out high-octane power-pop bred from garage rock’s roots. They split the difference between White Stripes and Weezer, with plenty of love for the tightest Camaro-rock hits from the mid 1970s. Jamin logged time with Be Your Own Pet in the mid-2000s, releasing that band’s early releases on Infinity Cat Recordings. That label is run by the Orrals and their father, songwriter Robert Ellis Orral, and has been the home to all of the JEFF the Brotherhood records. The band’s self-released albums and relentless touring built a head of steam with 2009’s Heavy Days. They released We Are The Champions last year and have just released Hypnotic Nights, which is simultaneously out on Infinity Cat and Warner Brothers Records.
