The Des Moines, Ia. indie rockers The Envy Corps have built a steadty audience in Omaha, culminating in their well-received set at this summer’s MAHA Festival. The band has also experienced acclaim for their 2011 release It Culls You. The band recorded the album in Omaha, with A.J. Mogis. The band self-released the album, after having their previous album out on Mercury Records imprint Vertigo in the United Kingdom. Led by singer/songwriter Luke Pettipoole, the band specializes in anthemic indie pop that takes notes from Radiohead, Arcade Fire and Coldplay.
