Teonne A. Wright and Yvette M. Goodwin, local artists and instructors with Growing and Building Together Academy of the Arts, will show their varying styles of painting, photography and graphic design in Unhung: Created by Design. Wright’s prints combine photogravure, imagery and graphic design to create digital film positives that look into and through the eyes of the subjects from animals to humans. Goodwin’s paintings call to her influence of abstract expressionism and surrealism, with bright colors and strong lines. Both artists assert that working with and teaching kids is one of their key inspirators.
