Snake Island are ringing in the new year with their debut release. The band cut the 12-inch vinyl record earlier this year. Snake Island sound has grown into a full-roar that cuts across its pitch black psych rock with elements of surf, rockabilly, garage rock and blues punk. The house show release party features a host of the cities best punk, garage and indie acts, including Peace of Sh*t, Sun Settings, Baby Tears, Cheap Furs and more. The show is free if an attendee brings two non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Bank for the Heartland. Otherwise, the event costs $3 for those 21-years-old and up or $5 for those younger than 21.
