June 10 Satchel Grande and The Sandlot Holland Center East Lawn, 1200 Douglas St. Music at 7:45 p.m., Movie at 8:45 p.m. FREE, food and drink for sale 402.345.0606, omahaperformingarts.org   Omaha Performing Arts is so not “killin’ me, Smalls” with this compatible pairing of local funky-fresh all-stars Satchel Grande and classic baseball flick The Sandlot. They really swung for the fences with this full agenda of family-friendly entertainment, starting with the band’s vibrant, soulful sounds, which just make a shorty wanna dance, followed by the nostalgia driven tale of 1960s summertime adventure, sports and camaraderie. The lawn opens at 7:30 p.m. for this installment of Cox’s Music & Movies series, and the venue welcomes blankets and chairs, but asks that you bring no outside food, drink or pets. Sorry, Hercules.
