Opens June 3 The Ballplayers Art exhibit by Stephen Dinsmore Anderson O’Brien Fine Art Old Market 1108 Jackson St., aobfineart.com   Stephen Dinsmore fell in love with baseball as a second grader in Omaha. Summers spent chasing flyballs in Elmwood Park and sifting through rookie cards stayed with him, and now, even while painting landscapes and still lifes, he might have a ballgame playing on the TV in his studio. Eventually the national pastime made its way onto his canvases. Like his wide-open rural landscapes and winding country roads, these baseball diamonds and stadiums take on a languid, atmospheric quality as the faceless, stripe-suited players melt into their surroundings. This exhibit opens just in time for the College World Series.
