Christopher O’Riley will bring his genre-jumping piano style to the 1200 Club at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas St., Saturday, March 15th. O’Riley plays both interpretations of works by classic composers like Liszt and Beethoven and his own transcriptions of indie-rock, folk and singer-songwriter material by contemporary artists. O’Riley particularly has gained noticed for his piano deconstructions of Radiohead. Expect classical material to flow into riffs of work by Elliott Smith and Nick Drake at this performance.
