An English indie rock group and a long-running Omaha act will headline the annual Maha Festival.

The outdoor concert will be held Aug. 8, 2026 at Omaha’s Heartland of America Park.

Headlining the 2026 Maha Festival is UK indie rock breakout Wet Leg, joined by Omaha’s own Bright Eyes, Grammy-winning rapper Killer Mike, and rising alternative standout Blondshell.

Indie-folk favorites Whitney round out the bill, alongside Omaha-based David Nance & Mowed Sound and emerging local artist Carver Jones.

Wet Leg – the UK five-piece founded by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers – released their second album “Moisturizer,” an album of manic love songs and well-timed kiss-offs, in 2025.

Their debut album topped charts home and abroad, earning three Grammys, two Brits and over half a billion streams.

Bright Eyes began in 1995 in Omaha as a recording moniker for a then 15-year-old Conor Oberst’s work with producer/multi-instrumentalist Mike Mogis. Mogis and composer/arranger/multi-instrumentalist Nate Walcott became fully fledged members in 2006.

Over the course of 29 years, Bright Eyes’ impact and influence has been significant throughout pop-culture, appearing in numerous films and television shows. Their songs have been covered by dozens of artists including Lorde, The Killers, Mac Miller, Phoebe Bridgers, Jason Mraz and beabadoobee, and sampled by rappers like Young Thug and Lil Peep.

The rain-or-shine event is open to all ages, with food and drink options available.
