Keller Williams has a special place in the heart of jam band fans, appealing in equal parts to those looking for an experimental edge and to those who like their jams roots in folk, bluegrass and roots music traditions. He’s collaborated with jam band luminaries ranging from Yonder Mountain String Band, The Stringe Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee and ex-Grateful Dead member Bob Weir’s project Ratdog. Williams, a self-taught guitarist, is known for building layers of looped instrumentals when he plays live. Williams also continues to be a major voice in introducing jam band fans to all sort of new music, thanks to his Keller’s Cellar radio show, which airs locally on The River 89.7 FM.
