Comedian and best-selling author Mike Birbiglia is bringing his one-man show My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend to Omaha.
Birbiglia said the show is about how he decided to get married despite not believing in the idea of marriage.
“It’s about love and pain and first kisses and first girlfriends. It’s about all the painful things that go into romance when you’re growing up and how those experiences inform our adult choices,” he said.
Birbiglia said he will be signing stuff after the show, including CD’s, tickets, boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and anything else audience members would like to bring. He said he also takes pictures with fans after the show and posts them to his Facebook page.
“I don’t claim to have a lot of wisdom. I’m a comedian. I’m just trying to make people laugh,” Birbiglia said.
