UNO faculty grooming journalists in Afghanistan

The University of Nebraska at Omaha kicks off a three-year exchange program aimed at educating journalists in Afghanistan this week. The $1.3 million program, funded by a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, will send UNO faculty members to Kabul University to help build a fledgling journalism program. Starting next spring, students and professors from Kabul University will travel to Omaha.
