Assistant Principal Vicki Kaspar, 57, died late Jan. 5, a few hours after she was shot shortly before 1 p.m. at Millard South High School by Robert Butler Jr., 17. Butler was found dead a short time later in a nearby parking lot from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Principal Curtis Case, 45, was also shot during the incident and remains in serious condition at the Creighton University Medical Center. Butler had been suspended from the school earlier Wednesday morning after surveillance video showed him driving a car across the school’s football field.
