If you are looking for a non-holiday themed show to check out this weekend, you are in luck. The Chanticleer Theatre is offering the American farce, Sex Please, We’re Sixty. The play was written by Michael Parker and Susan Parker and is set in a bed and breakfast.
The older women who vacation at the B&B are getting more than breakfast thanks to the man living next door.
Once the women find out they are being two and three-timed though, comedy ensues.
Director Jonathan Wilhoft said the play offers a lively version of seniors’ sex lives largely through innuendo. He said the show is pure escapist entertainment.
“I hope people walk away laughing,” he said.
