You can give your child’s creative side a work-out this summer with art camps and classes for ages 4-18. The Joslyn also offers a Saturday surprise, every other Saturday morning where kids can enjoy simple art-making activities guided by staff. The EdTech Gallery has Art Packs and printed gallery games. Omaha Children’s Museum
The Omaha Children’s Museum’s summer exhibit is The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which brings together memorable moments and adventures from the film and the book.
This summer, the museum’s theater transforms into Fairytale Land complete with themed programs, including the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
During WorldFest, guests learn about the cultures of each of Omaha’s sister cities with food and live entertainment.

Strategic Air & Space Museum
Strategic Air & Space Museum’s Super Science Summer Camps include the brand new ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ camp. Kids will be flying…literally. They’ll fly in a private plane, build and launch rockets and send a helium balloon into near space.
Robotics camp teaches kids about robots. SASM also has Mad Scientist Camp and the NASA Kennedy Space Center travel camp where the kids travel to Florida to see NASA up-close.

Heartland Gondolas
Heartland Gondolas offers boat rides around the Con Agra Lagoon at Heartland of America Park. There is a Venetian Gondola for couples and families that carries 4 to 6 passengers. They also have a big boat for groups of up to 30 passengers, the Caorlina. Heartland Gondolas is open weekend afternoons and evenings as well as by appointment.

YMCA
