Omaha’s First Friday happens all around town. The grand opening of Gallery 72’s new space at 1806 Vinton Street is Feb. 1, 5:00 – 9:00 pm. The Vinton Street art district’s Gallery 72 presents Mary Zicafoose: Tapestries and Prints. Nationally known for pushing the boundary of the ancient Ikat technique in contemporary tapestry, Zicafoose will give a Gallery Talk Tuesday, Feb. 19, 7:00 – 8:00 pm. The Old Market’s Artists’ Cooperative Gallery explores the theme of “Relationships” in a variety of interpretations.
