Supergroup Royal Southern Brotherhood rocks Lincoln’s Zoo Bar Thursday, Feb. 14, 6-9 p.m. and plugs in at The 21st Saloon for a special show on Friday, Feb. 15, 7 p.m. Royal Southern Brotherhood is the creative collaboration of the legendary Cyril Neville with blues-rock guitar stars Mike Zito and Devon Allman and fine instrumentalists Charlie Wooten (bass) and Yonrico Scott (drums). See royalsouthernbrotherhood.com. Allman’s new solo release, Turquoise (Ruf Records), drops this week, on Feb. 12. Mike Zito and Cyril Neville also have upcoming solo discs and The Brotherhood’s live CD/DVD combination release is set for May.
At deadline (Sunday night, Feb. 10) the Zoo only had 20 tickets left. Advance tickets to either show are available at the respective bars while they last.
Valentine’s Blues & Jazz
The 21st Saloon Thursday 5:30 matinee features acclaimed Kansas vocalist and boogie-blues pianist Kelley Hunt for the Feb. 14 show.

The Sunday Roadhouse concert series brings two of Austin’s brightest young musicians to the Side Door Lounge, Sunday, Feb. 17, 5 p.m. Will Sexton is the younger brother of Charlie Sexton and a true life-long musician who grew up playing guitar and making music.
