And The Morel Of The Story Is This-

Morel season is here!  While many devotees have already brought in hauls of the fun little fungus, last weekend’s showers in combination with the warmth of this week will really help the morels to sprout, making this weekend prime morel hunting time! Many websites keep an updated list of sightings, while others post maps, pictures, and even recipes. For a goof-off’s guide, check out https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nebraska-Morels/203101076390891. With wild growing mushrooms, always be cautious. Nebraska is home to many families of poisonous fungus, so never eat a wild picked mushroom you haven’t positively identified. If you believe you have ingested a poisonous mushroom, call the poison control center at 1 (800) 222-1222 or seek treatment immediately.
